Friend, last week I road tripped around a ridiculously 'fairytale'-like region of Eastern France known as Alsace.
And I loved it so much I've already made a video about it!
What is Alsace like, you might ask?
Well, imagine Belle's village from 'Beauty and the Beast,' repeated over and over again, with an endless sprawl of vineyards and vino to chug, I mean taste. I road tripped around for a week with two friends and have summed everything up in this little video!

Anyways, odds are if you haven't noticed, but this video is a day or so late, and wow do I have a thoroughly traumatizing reason!
I spent three days straight editing this 'badboy,' and tried exporting it all on Tuesday. It's been a busy week for me travel-wise, dashing from Berlin to Dresden to Prague, etc ...so in between hotel check -ins/ outs, moving cities, and basically dancing around like a headless chicken, I kept trying to leech off random power sources to export this video.
My last attempt was on board a jittery bus, when a sudden brake caused my portable hard drive to just fly off my laptop, fatefully crashing onto the ground, all my files (including my finished video!).... unretrievable, I thought. That's right - all three days' worth of work, all my files... gone. Lucky for me I have a friend who can recover it, even if only 10% works...
I admit I did panic spiral for a bit, but I was so intent on getting this video out, a weird sense of calm came over me and I did what my superego, does best: I cracked open a beer and got. it. done.
Yes, this whole video was re-edited from scratch last night in Prague. If that's not a testament to how stubborn (or maybe dedicated? or stupid) I am, then I don't know what else will convince you haha. I haven't pulled an all-nighter since ye good ole college days, but at least Prague was a pretty glamorous place to do it.

So anyways, I hope you enjoy this video... it's not perfect (given the circumstances) and I wish it was as polished as its original version, but I'm not spending another three days tweaking it because I need that time for eating donuts. Go figure...
Anyways, back at the ranch, that's story time over for now. As usual, you can catch more live updates from my travels on Instagram. I'll be headed to a surprise (very random) event this Saturday.... I can't wait to show you, but it'll involve a lot of crying men (I think).
