RE: Three (3) quick tricks to get more blog comments

RE: Three (3) quick tricks to get more blog comments

Hi, hon!

I hope you're having a great day so far and enjoy your weekend, be safe! :)

I have been thinking about a particular concept today - the 90-9-1 rule:

  • 90% of your audience are 'lurkers' who will read and watch silently,
  •  9% will contribute from time to time, and only,
  • 1% will actively subscribe, participate & provide feedback.

When we successfully engage our audience and "break out" of this 90-9-1 ratio, we build a base of loyal readers who are more likely to buy from us.

For the first year of my blogging journey, I had my comments switched off because I didn't want to deal with the additional trouble. I didn't see the ROI that blog comments can bring to my business.

But today, I see my blog comments as another avenue where I can engage and connect with my audience.

So... how can we better engage our blog readers to get more blog comments? Here are 3 quick tips to help...

1. Don't make your blog commentators jump through unnecessary hoops and red tape...

People are reluctant to leave a comment when you require extra effort from them before they can comment, like registering, loging in or filling a captcha etc.

Make sure that your blog does not make readers jump through unnecessary hoops before they can leave a comment.

2. Get rid of any "0 comments" so you don't scare people from commenting

Make sure that your comment section never displays the dreaded '0 comments' line.

If it does, make sure to remove this because it reflects very poorly on your credibility when people see that you've no comments.

3. Break the ice

Many people are uncomfortable being the first person who comments. It is easier to join a conversation than to start it – this is why the first slot can stay vacant for way too long.

To fill it and invite more comments, ask one of your close friends to comment on your article once you post it.

4. Ask an open-ended question

Conclude your article with an open-ended question asking the audience for their opinions or experiences: "What do you think about this?" or "How do you typically deal with such a situation?"

People are more likely to share when they are invited to, do so.

My thanks in advance for your, attention, energy, time trouble  and cosideration.

G-d bless,

Jon-jon

The attractiveness of those blogging engines and CMS platforms could be the lack of limitations and ease of manipulation that makes it possible for developers to put into action prosperous content and ’skin’ the website in such a way that with really tiny work one particular would never ever discover what it is generating the website tick all devoid of limiting material and effectiveness. niche related blog comments

I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks original site
