IG/ Facebook iMarketing That Anyone Can Use
As
far as marketing goes, almost nothing is as effective as Instagram (IG)/Facebook (fb).
There are so many people using IG/facebook, it just makes sense to use it
as a marketing tool. If fb by itself were a country, it would be third to China and India (tied w/India) as far as population goes (~1BB Users/ mon.) If you want to get the most out of your marketing
efforts, you'll need to read up on IG/facebook marketing.
A great way to interact with your subscribers, followers, fans & friends is to respond to their comments on your wall or IG Tribe/ facebook group page. That means monitoring your wall and also any @ messages about your company (for example, @Nestle). Reply to all your subscribers, particularly those that have questions and/or concerns. Interact with them before and after posting any ads, on behalf of your company (or companies you work for).
Your IG/ fb page needs to contain information that your audience is not able to get anywhere else. If they feel like they are reading old content, it will not get the added attention, or give them the incentive to return. Make sure that you offer exclusive content that is only available for people that have subscribed to your page or business.
Do not leave any sections of your IG/facebook page blank if you are looking to market your business. Many people neglect to put all of their info and this can cost a lot in the long run. If people cannot find the information they need on your business, they may look somewhere else to get what they want and need.
Use pictures. Once you've got your site set up, share pictures with your IG/fb friends and fans and followers (these are double-optins, since you're contacting their network as well). These pictures can be of your product, or they can be inspirational or funny pictures etc. Your customers will share these pictures with their own IG/facebook friends, fans & followers not to mention subscribers which raises your exposure across the site and will lead people to you and your business venture.
Be communicative. When someone makes an effort to write you a question or even to just say something positive about your company, make sure you respond. It helps to create good will, and it says a lot about you as a business owner. New customers and potential customers will be impressed with how responsive you are.
Post about your milestones on IG/fb. You could for instance let your subscribers know about your sales volume, the launching of new products or the anniversary of your most popular products and promotional sales associated. This is a good way to draw attention to certain products while creating a positive image for your brand.
Promote your IG/facebook page all over the place. Share the link to your social media profile on your website, on your personal page, on your blog, on your followers, fans & friends' pages and anywhere else you can think of. The more exposure your page gets, the better it is for your business.
Try to get others (affiliates) to do the same.
Do not try to use your personal IG/fb page to attract fans, followers and friends, only. This is not a good idea since, personal users have fans, followers & friend limits (~5,000) that business users don't (I have a page w/ 8.5K + followers, friends & fans) so you may however do that in addition. You don't want someone to try to join your page, if it's personal use page, only to be told that you have reached your limit. They probably won't come back to try another time. If you do, use a second link to your business page or other personal page. Many people have more that one page in case a page in fb 'jail,' is otherwise locked out, blocked or hacked. You can use the 2nd page to keep on, keeping on, while you try to recover, or avoid a 'block' situation, for example.
Always maintain a positive attitude on your IG/fb marketing page. No one likes a downer, and this is especially true if someone has the ability to not be forced to deal with it. Be sure that no matter what you post on your page that you find a way to put a positive spin on it.
Post on a variety of topics, but all within your niche. Make sure that your information is relevant, but also creative. Use various methods to engage your fans, followers and friends. Perhaps that means photo essays, or you can create posts where you either pol or question your audience. Stories are most popular, folks spend more time in stories that they do scrolling thru your page. Try blocking out about 10 mins. of time in a story entry.
As you can see by now, IG/Facebook marketing is the easiest way to reach ever larger numbers of people. When used wisely, this is the ideal way to get folks interested in your business. Use what you have learned here to propel your business up to the top.
Don't forget the use of similar socialmedia pages like Google (YouTube), Pinterest, TikTok, Tumbler, Twitter, & Linkedin etc to expand and scale up your outreach, they can all be linked together such that if you say, post to fb it'll show up on the other pages, usually as a link to fb 'ad.onfb.com.' Also try to collect eMail adresses from your friends, fans & followers for email campaigns in addition to, or complementing, IG/fb ad campaigns. That discussion will be for another time.
Thanks!
