There are just a few motivators that determine human behavior.
Get them right, and you can use them to sell as much as you want and make as much money as you want.

I highly recommend that anyone in business commit these to memory or tattoo to memory:
Pain & Problems:
This one is pretty simple. You might be having a problem getting started with business, so you're looking for a solution. Someone concerned with their weight might be having a problem losing 30 lbs for the wedding. You get it. Every problem comes with a whole collection of pains attached to it. And, if your product can solve the problem and get rid of the pain, they'll be your customers forever.
Status & Identity:
If you want to really pull the identity / status trigger on your market, keep this phrase in mind: "People like us do XYZ."
Can I tell you a secret? This whole motivator is the reason you see so many rented Lamborghini videos and "marketers" posing next to private jets. Their audiences want the status, the nice cars, the money. "People like us have all this wealth… look at it!" Now put yourself in their shoes. If you REALLY want that status, that identity, you will jump through just about any hoop and pay any amount of money to get it.
Security & Vulnerability:
A lot of people feel deep down that the world is an unsafe place and out to get them. They're seeking comfort, safety, and security. It's up to you to prove that you are in their corner, and that they can trust you. This goes beyond simple testimonials and proof of success. This is all about your customer service, your recommendations, and your level of expertise. If you really understand this motivator, your customers will end up building a strong, long-term relationship with you.

Your homework for the day is to go through your current offers and products and think: Which motivators are you triggering? What kind of people are most likely to buy from you? Why?
Answer these questions, and you'll be well on your way to selling an irresistible offer to a starving crowd.
