Hey,
We do things differently. We always have.
- We fell in love (real love) when we were 15, yes HS sweethearts.
Even though the voice of reason said "Guard your heart. You never marry your first love." (We've known each other since Elementary school around about 6th grade) - We were willing to trust each other, and defy the odds. 12 year later...here we are!
By the way...I thought you would appreciate this throwback picture - ha!!:
- We got married when we were 16 and renewed our vows when we were 19 and again 3 years later and so on and so forth ( ea. time there was a honeymoon, we pretty much vacationed when and if we wanted to )...
Even though the voice of reason said, "Wait until you finish college! You can't afford to do this right now. You're not even old enough to rent a car!" We worked odd jobs, grew closer together, and graduated a semester early.
- He quit his corporate job when we had two small baby girls.
Even though the voice of reason said "He should keep his job - it's reliable income and comes with good insurance for your family!"
We 10Xed his income that year, and mine ...paid our hospital bill in full for baby #3. - When we recognized symptoms of burnout, we shut down our main source of revenue, sorta "fired" all our clients (offered a discount if they wanted to stray with us), sabbatical for our FB group with over 13,000 members, and decided to start from scratch with a business model that would empower us instead of drain us. We went for more freedom, freedom + and freedom premium... instead of money...
Even though the voice of reason said, "You worked hard for this. Don't throw it all away. You have nothing to fall back on. Slowly wean yourself off clients over time." We discovered online courses and made $400k in passive income that year.
Here is what we've learned: The "voice of reason" is not always right!!!
We aren't reckless or stupid... we just have our own definition of success, and choose to trust our guts and work extremely hard to create the life we want. What about you?
Don't drown out the whispers of your heart with the sound of REASON. Who decides what's "reasonable?" What's possible? What's realistic? etc...
YOU.
ONLY YOU.
^^^Your Welcome ^^^
João
P.S. Almost 4got ...If'n you want to create a totally "unrealistic" life, you're in good company. We believe anyone who wants to create a life of freedom for themselves and their family should have the tools to make it happen.
In about an hour, we're are hosting a free, LIVE training inside our limited-time November to Remember Facebook group called "YOUR DREAMS." Inside we'll show you how to set aside "the voice of reason" and start DREAMING BIG. We'll explain our process for turning your dreams into goals and deep dive into how you can actually make these things happen in your life (sooner than you think!).
See you soon!
