Hey, not gonna lie - this week epic, it was dramatic.
I got stranded in a Canadian snowstorm, dealt with a cancelled bus, jet and accidentally ate at a restaurant where the waiters spontaneously burst into song and dance while waiting for the kitchen staff to catch up... BUT through it all, I did end up having a wonderful boys' & girls' week in Montréal, Ottawa and Québec City... where we went to the Quebec Winter Carnival, AKA the most delightful, most Canadian festival to ever exist. I had so much fun I've already made my video about it, which you can watch here.

I'm currently writing this email from my bed in Vancouver, BC where I've spent the past 24 hours prepping all the Carnaval content for you. I guess the thing about covering a 10 day event is the info is practically useless if you don't act quick, so, yes, I'm just nursing my bloodshot eyes right now, breathing a sigh of relief that I actually finished it all!
As I mentioned, this week was pretty wild. Travelling Canada in the winter definitely has its challenges but I'm happy to say I survived and had a great time. If you want a play by play of the comedy of errors that was my trip, you should watch this Instagram highlight here.
And we'll be back to European content soon by the way... this time next week I'll be flying back to Germany, where another Carnival awaits - the famous Cologne Carnival, which I am beyond excited for.
