Hey Friend, as you most likely know, there's no event on Earth I love more than Oktoberfest.
I mean... it's 99% the reason I live in Munich. If you've never heard of it, Oktoberfest is the biggest beer festival in the world, where 7 million litres of beer are consumed every year, with dozens of tents scattered across a boozey fairground filled with rides, games and food. It's the best time ever, and I'm getting giddy (and kinda drunk?) just thinking about it.
The not so great thing about Oktoberfest? Between flights, hotels, and lederhosen shopping, it takes a lot of preparation. Plus, reservations are confusing and usually made 6+ months in advance... which is why I created today's video! I admit it's pretty niche, and probably only helpful if you're planning a visit yourself, but you can also check it out to see the inside of all 16 big tents! Here's my video guide to scoring Oktoberfest table reservations for free.

I'm currently writing this email from my little desk in Munich. I'm home at last after a whirlwind month in Canada and a weekend spent in Cologne, Germany for Karneval celebrations... hence why this video is a little later than usual, but wowww. Karneval was wild.
If you've never heard of it, Karneval in Cologne is one of the most famous Carnival celebrations in Europe, and it's basically a week long street party where everybody parties their face off before Lent...... in costume. That's right! People dress up in costumes, dance all over the city, and there's even a parade where they literally hurl candy and flowers at you for three hours straight. It's all a little hard to explain - just watch my Instagram highlight of the trip here to see what the madness is all about. Video to come soon!
Anyways, the next month will be pretty quiet for me travel-wise... but I'm honestly just excited to be back in Munich so I can get back into my routine of uh, changing from my night pyjamas to day pyjamas every day (because working from home is great, you guys!). I promise I'll be showcasing more of Munich in the next month though, so click here to follow me on Instagram if you haven't already.
So, if you've scrolled to the end, hi! Click here to see my latest video all about how to get Oktoberfest reservations for free!
My thanks in advance for you attention, consideration, energy, support, time and trouble.
