RE: [OM2C] Day 3: How To Identify A Scam

"Coffee is my cup of tea!" Einstein

Hey, how's it going? Going good...

Have you been a victim of a scam? You are not alone.
Do you wish you could make $15,385.23 in 48 hours? Me too!
The reason scams and misleading products sell so well is that they push our emotional buttons

We WANT these impossible ideas to be true so badly that we temporarily believe something we KNOW isn't true. If it's too good to be true, chances are it is!
I was a victim of a scam in 2010.

I joined a "new future social network" that was supposed to overtake Facebook, called fn.
The best part? The members could make money instead of giving it all to Mark Zuckerberg.
All I had to do was pay the membership fee...

Then get as many friends to join as possible.
Of course, they had to pay a fee too...
But that's OK, because if they get their friends to join, then it's basically free!
They were shut down two years later.

Then there was another company that did penny actions online, called 'Zeek' turned out it was a ponzi scheme and it was shut down by SEC a year later. All you had to do to make money was post ads online on fb... had a friend that would withdraw $2,000 a mon... I lost the equivalent of puttin' away your spare change for a whole year. Never use your money, always other people's...

And then there was MOBE - 'my online biz empire,' another scheme shutdown by the FTC, just last year. They hounded you for up-sells the more obscene the price the better. You made 3K, 5K and/or 9K per sale... I lost the equivalent of puttin' away your spare change for a whole year or two. Never use your money, always other people's...

Long story short, those companies were shut down one to two years later. They still exist, changed names and moved offshore :(
Although I was scammed, I learned a hard lesson.
So the lesson from Day 3 is about setting realistic goals, how to identify a scam, and we'll be doing more stuff to get your affiliate business growing.

Peace!

João

P.S. Tomorrow is going to be my favorite lesson.
We're going to look at some example websites
P.P.S. I'll be giving you a free bonus in about a week.
The topic?
I'll tell you next time.
